I have a passion for helping others succeed in their personal health & fitness goals. This passion compels me to design programs and services at the highest possible level of instruction, giving you maximum value and results. I have brought together an incredible team of professionals who have a wealth of knowledge, experience and together share a passion for health, fitness and helping others. With 20 years of experience in Pilates, health and Fitness instruction, I designed the TWC to have the intimacy and level of care only found possible in a small class and private Studio environment.
 
I believe that a healthy mind will help to heal the body and keep it strong and vital. With this, all of our programs are within the “mind-body” practice of health and fitness.
 
My specialty is now with Pilates but my background in exercise rehabilitation, personal training and competitive sports all come together to create an experience for you that is tailored to your needs and delivered in a fun, safe and motivating way. So, whether you are recovering from an injury or illness, new to exercise, a competitive athlete or somewhere in-between, the TWC has something for you to ensure you get the results you are looking for!

Anne Johnson is a STOTT certified Pilates Instructor, BCRPA Certified Supervisor of Fitness Leaders, Certified Trigger Point Bodyworker BASI Pilates Injury and Pathologies Certification, Certified Yoga Instructor.

She has been actively studying health and fitness for more than 25 years and teaching Pilates for 12 years. She draws from her knowledge of anatomy, movement and fitness skills to provide Pilates programs to suit any age or level of ability. She teaches a diverse clientele ranging from athletes (runners, skiers, golfers, equestrians, soccer players etc) to clients who have injuries, physical limitations or movement dysfunctions.

Anne's passion for Pilates is demonstrated though an encouraging teaching style, a keen eye for movement and attention to detail. These qualities help her clients improve their body awareness and alignment and get better and stronger! She is dedicated to personalizing exercise programs to help each client reach their full potential in the studio and carry those skills over to everyday activities and sports.

Jodi is certified by STOTT Pilates of Vancouver as a Pilates Instructor qualified on Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Chairs and Barrels since 2010. In addition she is certified as a Registered Yoga Alliance Instructor.
 
Jodi’s love of movement began early in life with ballet and synchronized swimming. Through her personal Pilates practice she realized the profound benefits of the work as her own body transitioned out of chronic back pain. From there, Pilates became an integral part of her personal well being.
 
As a teacher, Jodi seeks to be a guide in helping her clients find a new awareness of the body through alignment, and a deepened understanding of their own physicality both in and out of the studio.
 
Jodi is continually looking for new inspiration as an Instructor. In 2011 she gained her Yoga Certification in Ashtanga Yoga in Thailand. She enjoys a rich practice of her own in Pilates, Yoga, dance, swimming, and workshops in various movement modalities to further her along in her journey as an instructor.

Patricia is a seasoned Instructor with extensive qualifications in the Fitness Industry. Pilates for Pregnancy -Third-Age Pilates and Rehabilitation, with over

twelve years teaching Pilates.

Patricia is Internationally traveled and has recently taught Pilates overseas in Spain. Ex- Scuba Dive Instructor and Triathlete, she believes "To enjoy the glow of good health you must exercise."-- (Gene Tunney).

Patricia's love and passion of people and their well being ensures her sessions are healing and motivating. She guides her clients to develop better posture, alignment, and core stability, leading to true functional fitness and a renewed connection to their bodies, their health and well being. She inspires her clients to take what they learn and apply it to their every day lives. Patricia is extremely hands-on and is known for her healing touch.

Michele is a Body Arts and Science International Comprehensively Certified Pilates Instructor. Modified Pre/Postnatal Pilates Matwork; Qualified on Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, Chair, Barrels, Ped-a-Pul, Avalon, Various Auxiliary Equipment and Pilates for the Mature Client Certification. Level 1 NCCP coaching certificate, taught various children’s equestrian camps and volunteered in the “Delta Steps out Program” mentoring former co-workers. Michele continues to further her knowledge through advanced workshops and personal practice.

Michele has always had a passion for being active and is often heard saying, “movement is freedom”. Her life is centered, around working and playing outdoors. Michele wanted to avoid recurring back and shoulder pain, which initially drew her to Pilates where she discovered Pilate’s parallels all the same principles as riding horses. She takes this awareness to the arena when schooling her own horse. “As an equestrian, I truly believe Pilates has helped not only my wellbeing, but that of my horses’.

Michele has a special interest in working with her equestrian based clients to either expedite their recovery, or find a way to prevent future related injuries, developing a stronger, confident rider.

Michele understands that reaching fitness goals can strengthen people’s lives, both mentally and physically and she enjoys teaching and witnessing these positive results with her clients, as she truly cares about her clients’ best interests, hoping to see them all exceed in various ways. Eliminating injury, keeping people happy and motivated is what makes Michele thrive and truly love being a Pilates Instructor.

I began this healing journey 20 years ago as a kundalini yoga student. After practising for 3 months, I started to notice that I was calmer, more focused and had more energy. I was hooked! Then I began experimenting with a variety of different lineages- Bikram, Ashtanga, Iyengar and eventually settled in the practise of 'Vijnana' yoga. This mindful yoga focuses on a knowledge based practise, where the practitioner becomes familiar with the myofacial lines of the body and in turn creates a very 'body aware' experience.

In 2001 I was inspired by the practise/ teaching of Maureen Frewer(then Delta Yoga center) and decided to take her yoga teaching certificate training. Then in 2004 embarked on the 300 hour Yoga Therapy Training with Leila Stuart at Center Point Yoga. The group yoga classes that I teach have long warm ups and awareness exercises that prepare the student for a very safe , well rounded practise.
