Back in the day, I exercised to burn calories. To look good and be able to eat what I wanted. As I age, good health is taking precedent. I am in this for the long haul, so I’ve adopted on a more balanced approach to fitness that emphasizes longevity.
Now, don’t get me wrong, I still want to look good and enjoy indulging without consequence, but my energy, wellbeing and remaining injury free are a solid part of my regime. I take time to breathe, stretch and move my body in ways that promotes health, good posture and restoration.
Engaging daily in mindful movement such as Pilates, Fascial Conditioning and CoreAlign brings quality sleep, reduces stress, keeps my brain sharp and body strong. Instead of aches and pains from overtraining, I feel a greater sense of strength, mobility, aliveness, mental clarity, and energy.
Life span is how long we live. HEALTH SPAN is living a high quality of life for as long as possible. I invite you to join me at the TWC in the realm of mindful movement where you will enjoy getting fit and strong while connecting to yourself and others.
