BRIDGE WITH LEG EXTENSION
Our golf conditioning program uses the golf screens and assessments protocols from the Titleist Performance Institute system. The screen for glute and core stability is the bridge with leg extension.
1. line up your heels with your knees
2. bridge your pelvis up until your hips are extended, keeping your spine neutral
3. balance on one leg while maintaining a stable pelvis. HOLD 10 SECONDS.
If this is challenging or you aren't able to maintain a level raised pelvis then adding a glute and core stability exercise to your training regime will help your game! (good news...the test is also a great exercise.)
