Ground Breaking Event

June 27, 2013


This past weekend, the TWC participated in the Ground Breaking Event at Tsawwassen Springs Golf Course.  The event marked the start of construction on what will be TWC’s new home in summer 2014.  Our new space will be 2100 square feet (double what we have now) and feature floor to ceiling windows with a breathtaking view of the Northshore Mountains.  We are very excited for this expansion and look forward growing into it this year.


I would like to thank Anne, Jean, Andrea,  and Iris for being part of the event;  my moving team, Mike, Spencer, Charlie and Jake for hauling the equipment to and from the event; our clients who came down to say “hi” and the Tsawwassen Springs team for hosting such a great afternoon.  It was wonderful to meet the residents of Tsawwassen Springs and share our passion for Pilates.



This week ends our Spring session and Tuesday July 2nd marks the start of summer.


For those of you taking the summer off, we wish you the best in health, fun and adventure.  Remember to reserve your Fall class before you leave to ensure you are all set for September.

Workout with Linda – Tuesdays 10:30 am

Workout with Anne – Fridays 9:30 am


Experience a fun and lively class.  Workout with your instructor.  Enjoy the challenge of watching your instructor maximize each exercise while cueing you to join along.  Pre-requisite: experienced Pilates 1 level.  Must  be able to manage own body and willing to change own springs.


2. PILATES FOR OSTEOPOROSIS – Wednesdays 10:30 am

Exercising safely with Osteoporosis is critical to building strength, bone density and improving balance while recognizing the movement parameters associated with osteoporosis.  See article below on Exercising Safely with Osteoporosis.


If you know of someone who would like to join this class, but is not yet a client, he/she would begin with our Jumpstart Package (3 privates + assessment) before joining the group class.   Have them call us at 604.943.8823.
